Equipping and partnering with parents to raise kids who Know, Love, and Obey God.
Here at Faith Church we believe that parents are to be the primary disciple-makers in their child’s life. We as a church want to equip and partner with parents in this task! To help accomplish this goal, starting January 2017, we will begin using the Gospel Story for Kids curriculum that is specifically designed for the church and family to partner together.
For every lesson, we teach at church, there will be five corresponding family devotionals. This allows parents to reinforce and expand on what their kids learned at church that week. This will really help put parents to accomplish the call of Deuteronomy 6:4-8,
4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. 6 And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. 8 You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.9 You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
As we are getting ready to launch this curriculum, here is what you need to buy in preparation:

If money is a concern, please let us know and we will gladly provide these resources. We want to make sure that these are in the hands of every parent!
New to Faith Church?
What to expect – Parents/Guardians can check in children, from Newborn to 5th grade, at the Registration Computer in the Children’s Ministry hallway. As you walk in the front door turn left down the hallway and a volunteer will be there ready to show you around and answer any questions you may have. Please allow a few minutes to be set up in the computer if it is your first week attending Faith Church.
Sunday School Classes – Classes and childcare are offered for children from Newborns through 5th Grade, Sunday Mornings at 9:00am. Simultaneously there are Life Groups and Workshops being offered for adults. This is available Mid-August through May (we take a break from these classes over the Summer and Christmas break).
Children’s Church – For Newborns through 5th Grade we offer Children’s Church during the 10:30am service. During this time, we have age specific and appropriate classes from our nursery through our 3rd-5th Grade class. For kids three years old and younger they will go directly to their class after checking in. Four-year old’s through 5th graders will go to our Multi-Purpose Room after checking in for a time of Kids Worship. From there they break off into classes for age appropriate Bible lessons. When you register, we will show you around so that you know where to go for pick up!
Children in Service – While we offer children’s programs during our service we understand that some parents prefer to keep their children with them. Children are always welcome in our service and we truly view them as a blessing, not a distraction. Attached to the back of our sanctuary is a Cry Room so that, if necessary, parents can remove themselves from the sanctuary without missing the service. This room is also available for any nursing mothers.
