Fall Bible Studies
A Journey through Kings and Chronicles – Will be starting in September 2018 on Monday evenings. More info to come.
Fearless Mom. Fearless Mom exists to encourage every mom by providing tools and teaching to help moms enjoy life! No matter where you are in your mom journey, Fearless Mom is a judgment-free zone where you can connect with other moms and learn to be the mom God created you to be (fearlessmom.com). Meets Thursdays*, 9:15-11:30 am room 5.
Healing Hearts – Studies starting in the Fall
*Childcare is available for all Thursday morning Bible studies.
Women of any age and any skill level are welcome to quilt and fellowship with other women. Meets Tuesdays, 9:00 am-12:00 pm in room 5. Ronald McDonald House is in need of crocheted or knitted baby hats, preemie to newborn sizes. Contact Arta Anderson or Betty Rohde if you have questions.
Healthy Lifestyle Support Group
It’s about time… to join us as we embark on our healthy lifestyle and weight loss journey. We will be meeting to encourage, connect and grow in the word of God. We will learn healthy eating habits, break unhealthy habits, share recipes, support each other and learn biblical affirmations. We will meet Wednesdays, 6:30-7:30 pm at Sandy Peinado’s home.
Anyone is welcome to join in the card-making fun. No matter your age or ability, there is something for everyone to teach and learn at our weekly meetings, Tuesdays, 7:00-9:00 pm at Sandy Peinado’s home.
Join a group of fun, caring women who read and discuss books with the goal of growing in God. We meet at Mary Lujan’s home every other month from 7:30-9:30am. A light breakfast will be served. RSVP to Mary at 239-9161, email@example.com. Below is the list of books and dates for 2018.
- May 19, 2018 – A biography of your own choosing. Come prepared to share the biography you read with the rest of the group.
- July 21, 2018 – “Generous Justice” by Timothy Keller.
- September 15, 2018 – “The Hideaway” by Lauren K. Denton. This is our non-fiction book.
- November 17, 2018 – “Grace for the Good Girl” by Emily P. Freeman
- January 19, 2019 – This will be the time to bring your books so the group can vote which books we should read the following year.
May 19, 2018 – Paper Crafting: Join us from 9am to 3pm in the MPR as we work on cards, scrapbooking and other paper crafting. No cost.
June 2, 2018 – Ladies Spring Brunch – Location: Paula Porters, Saturday, June 2nd from 10am to 12 noon. Please bring a dish to share.
